I am still enjoying the chicken story. The cougar was indeed daunting, and I felt better hearing about the bobcat and its fear of humans. We get some cats up here, and it's good to know the difference. Yes, the film was so tenderly wrought. For one week, Burl and I did nothing but watch an Irish movie every night. I honed in on several good ones, but our luck ran out, and the films were no longer as interesting.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I would love to hear about the Irish movies you thought were good ☘️😊
Oh my goodness, I didn’t know you had big cats in your area! Hopefully the “city” bobcats are as afraid of humans as the ones here in the Foothills. The time I caught that bobcat in our woodshed, just a few feet away, in a split second it streaked away!
Carrie, thank you for this link! I appreciate your support so much 🥰 Thanks to you, this time I remembered to add where people can stream The Quiet Girl, lol!
What a beautiful review of "The Quiet Girl." Such a charming, insightful, and well-written book. I love it, too. Thank you for your other observations about Irish books and lore. And a Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!
Thank you for this darling comment, Mom ❤️ I think both the film and novella are unforgettable, and the tenderness in the film is just exquisite—the emotions portrayed with such delicacy. I’m glad you enjoyed the other Irish stuff too! ☘️
You're right, Sue. It was a case of too many films with too many titles. I am best with newer films with recognizable actors.
Stay well
I wish I could remember the titles. I am bad at titles unless the film was based on a book I have read. Talk soon.
Love, Mom
I would say you’re not *bad* at titles, just that there is SO much to watch out there! ❤️
